The town of Tordómar is 10 km from Lerma, in the Bank of Arlanza. The roman bridge over the river Arlanza is, without doubt, one of the major hallmarks of Tordómar, along with the remains of one of two Roman roads that had this town, the one linking Clunia and Cantabria.

The parish church of Santa Cruz presides over the town from above, with its belfry, visible from anywhere in the municipality. The monumentality of the building is a sign of the importance given to this town, not only in Roman times, but also in later centuries. Inside, we can highlight the “churrisgueresco” altarpiece and the Carrillo family chapel, one of the most important in the Middle Ages. Tordómar is a place to walk, remember and enjoy a good wine.
